Trenton, NJ…On Monday, April 9th, New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine will be signed into law S2195 which designates the first Monday in November as Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Day. The signing took place at the Governor’s outer office at the State House.
Several state legislators joined the Governor. Advocates and staff from both the Alzheimer’s Association’s Delaware Valley and Greater New Jersey Chapters were also present. Both chapters provided supportive testimony at both the Assembly and Senate committee hearings.
